(can't see what Google Analytics comes up with after that title).

I'm Sorry. There, I said it.
It's been ten whole days since I blogged last! I haven't been out of town, without internet, my laptop didn't die, my husband hasn't been sick and needing 100% of my attention.
I just haven't blogged.

First it was Farm Town (as mentioned in the previous post) that got (and still has) my attention.

Then, I finally got Pride and Prejudice in the mail and I began reading it. I had no idea how long it would take to read that book! I figured I could top it off in at day or two, but it took me a whole week if not a day or two longer.
I loved it, by the way. It was not an easy read, but once I got used to the style of the writing and the language of that time period, it was a piece of cake. I highly recommend it and liked it better than the movie! =)

Then I was going to read the third Harry Potter book (since I didn't do it the first or second time), but it occured to me that I still have yet to write the rest of my thank-you notes. We've almost been married 2 months! So I put Harry Potter back on the shelf and began writing.
You can only write so long without getting cramps in your hand, so I have to take breaks.

Oh yeah-- I also had a fun little ordeal that involved me going to the dentists.

I had an extreme tooth ache, went to the doc, he banged on my teeth a lot, took an x-ray, and informed me that I have a dying nerve and an abscessed tooth.
Yay, I get to have a ROOT CANAL procedure!

Antibiotics and hydrocodone have been my bestfriend this week.

Today, though, I have to have my Root Canal pushed back a whole MONTH, because TriCare somehow didn't get me into their dental system, and I won't be in it until August 1st.
Do they know that I'm busy the week of August 1st? *sigh*
That means I have to have it scheduled for the 2nd week of August. More antibiotics for me!

I have a few more updates, but this post is getting a little on the long side, so I'll save it for tomorrow! Again, I'm sorry for my unneccessary leave of absence, and I promise I'll try to do better.
But I still have more thank you notes, the third Harry Potter, and Farm Town which also require a little of my time, so bear with me :)

Happy Friday! Have a GREAT weekend!

My root canal really wasn't that bad! Make sure you ask for a prescription for something to help you relax before hand; it makes the entire thing much better. I have no idea what they gave me but it made the 2+ hour procedure float on by. I just kinda closed my eyes and floated.

And my jaw was sore the rest of the day, but it didn't really hurt. Just ached and felt swollen.

um, I can't believe you read Pride and Prejudice (go see my blog why I can't believe this.) something must be in the air these days. Oh, and your Tricare story is not surprising at all. There are toooo many horror stories I have about them.... one reason I don't want to marry a military guy.

Hope your tooth feels better (and that you don't get lost in Harry Potter.) :)

I'm not a fan of the dentist by any stretch but I had a root canal done several years ago and it wasn't too bad. :)

That sounds a big rough. I have to say, I laughed out loud when you made that comment about google analytics. I'd be on the lookout for some crazy searches landing on your blog in the next few weeks.

I feel for you ... I just had a dentist appointment on Monday, and finding out I need a root canal is one of my greatest fears. (Getting one would be another.) Hang in there!

    Glad you're back!
