It looked awful. I immediately bought one of those DIY colouring packs and dyed it back to dark brown. I don't like the job of doing it. But so far I have done it myself each time and it turns out ok. I think it looks better once the colour starts to fade a bit. Right now it is freshly done and almost black. My Mom thinks it looks good so that should count for something. She isn't looking at it from my side of my head. I don't like it this dark, I look like a freak each time I see it in a mirror. <BR/><BR/>I am naturally a chestnut brown sort of shade. It is very hard to match your shade unless you are going blonde. My sister and Mom are both blondes and they don't really seem to have the same care about getting an exact shade that I do. I've yet to find one that starts out the right shade. They are too red, too black, too light... etc. <BR/><BR/>I only colour it cause I came to realize that I look kind of odd sitting in the car, with the vanity mirror down so I could seek and destroy my grey hairs. It was ok when there were only four of them. Once I got past ten or so regulars I knew I had to step up to the next plan of war. It was so funny seeing people with colorful hair everywhere. My friends even did the same and dyed their hair with neon colors.
